Green bean washing and cutting processing line

Green bean solution

Green Bean Washing, Drying and Cutting Processing Line

A matched workflow for trimming, inspection, washing, surface-water removal, air drying and adjustable cutting.

500–1,000 kg/hReference configured capacity
0–60 mmAdjustable cutting range
6 process stagesFrom feeding to finished output
Custom layoutMatched to material and factory space

Solution overview

Move from incoming beans to clean, consistently cut product.

The line starts with controlled feeding and trimming, moves through washing and rinsing, removes surface water with centrifugal dewatering and air drying, and finishes with cutting and discharge to packing or freezing.

Each stage is configured around your bean variety, incoming condition and target cut length so the finished product is clean, uniform and ready for the downstream pack.

Process flow

Each stage has a clear job in the line.

Incoming Material Preparation

Feed and Trim

An inclined elevator and controlled feeder present beans to the line while the front section removes field material and aligns beans for trimming.

  • EquipmentInclined elevator with adjustable feed presents beans at a steady rate
  • PurposeSteady infeed with initial debris removal before trimming

Quality Control before Washing

Merge and Inspect

Bean streams merge onto an inspection transfer where operators can remove any remaining foreign material before washing.

  • EquipmentInspection and transfer conveyor with operator access on both sides
  • PurposeManual inspection point where operators remove foreign material

Primary Cleaning Stage

Bubble Wash and Rinse

A bubble washing stage lifts and agitates beans in water to remove soil and dust, followed by a clean rinse before dewatering.

  • EquipmentBubble washing machine with a clean-water rinse section
  • PurposeRemoves soil, dust and field residue with gentle agitation

Post-wash Water Management

Dewater and Air Dry

Continuous centrifugal dewatering removes surface water, then an air-drying section brings beans to the dry surface required for cutting and packing.

  • EquipmentContinuous centrifugal dewatering followed by air drying
  • PurposeDelivers a dry surface ready for cutting and packing

Cut and Discharge

The cutting section trims both ends and cuts beans to the target length before discharge to packing, freezing or further processing.

FAQ

Key questions before line planning

What capacity can the line reach?

The reference configuration runs at 500–1,000 kg/h. Final capacity depends on bean variety, incoming condition and cut specification.

Can the line feed a freezer directly?

Yes, the cutting and discharge stage can be configured to feed an IQF freezer or a packing table. Tell us the downstream equipment during planning.

How much space does the line need?

Layout is configured to your facility. Share the available floor length and width and we will propose a layout with the quotation.

Tell us your bean type, capacity and target product.
