Drying equipment

Vibrating Dewatering Machine

A vibrating dewatering machine that shakes surface water off washed produce across a stainless mesh deck — 800–1,000 kg/h with only 0.5 kW, feeding straight from a bubble washer and discharging to centrifugal drying or packing.

Applications

  • Leafy greens, shredded cabbage, diced carrots and mushrooms
  • Fresh-cut salad and ready-to-eat meal preparation
  • Pre-treatment lines for frozen vegetables and snacks
  • Dewatering of cut and granular food materials

Features

  • Gentle vibration, no heatHigh-frequency vibration shakes off free surface water without crushing delicate produce and without heat, preserving freshness and texture.
  • Low power and low noiseA 0.5 kW vibration motor does the work; spring mounts and rubber buffers keep vibration transmission and noise low.
  • Compact and sturdySmall footprint, light weight and a simple structure that drops easily into an existing line between washer and next stage.
  • Easy to cleanThe screen mesh is removable for washing and the V-shaped bottom tray drains water and small scraps away quickly.
  • Built to fit your lineOverall dimensions, screen hole size and capacity are customizable to match the line layout and throughput.

Working Process

  1. Continuous feed

The inlet connects directly to a bubble washer or elevator; washed produce spreads evenly across the vibrating screen deck.

  2. High-frequency vibration

The vibration motor drives an eccentric cam that transmits rapid oscillation to the deck through connecting rods, shaking surface water off the produce.

  3. Water separation

Free water falls through the 10 mm mesh into the V-shaped collection tray and drains away continuously, together with small vegetable scraps.

  4. Discharge to the next stage

Dewatered product discharges at the outlet to the next machine — a centrifugal dewaterer for deeper drying, or weighing and packing equipment.

FAQ

Which products suit it?

Leafy greens, shredded cabbage, diced carrots, mushroom dices, potato strips and salad mixes — cut or granular food materials; the mesh hole size is matched to the product.

Does it remove all the water?

It removes free surface water after washing. For very low residual moisture, such as before frying or deep-freezing, pair it with the centrifugal dewatering machine downstream.

How does it fit into my line?

The inlet connects to a bubble washer or elevator conveyor; the outlet hands product directly to a centrifugal dewaterer, weighing or packing conveyor.

Can size and capacity be customized?

Yes — length, width, height, screen hole diameter (8 / 10 / 12 mm) and capacity are all tailored to your layout and throughput.

Is it noisy?

No — the shock-absorption system of spring mounts and rubber buffers keeps floor vibration and noise low compared with many traditional dewatering units.
