Pillow packaging machinePacking equipment
Pillow Packaging Machine
Full-servo pillow packaging machines for fresh vegetables, fruits and other foods in two models: the Standard at 1,200–1,800 bags per hour and the High-Speed reciprocating at 2,500–3,600, both with automatic length detection, gentle roller guardrail conveying and MAP freshness options.
Configurations
One pillow packaging family, two speeds. Both models share the full-servo control, roller guardrail conveyor and automatic length detection below; the model comparison explains which one matches your volume.
- Standard Model
- High-Speed Reciprocating Model
Applications
- Fresh vegetable and fruit packing houses
- Supermarket distribution centers and central kitchens
- Cold-chain and fresh e-commerce fulfillment
- Other fresh and prepared foods such as bread and frozen items
Features
- Automatic length detectionEvery item is measured automatically and packaging parameters adjust in real time — no manual setup, consistent bag lengths across products.
- Gentle roller guardrail conveyorRoller-type guardrails guide and stabilize each product during transport, minimizing bruising and mechanical damage to delicate items.
- Freshness optionsBoth models can perforate the bag and flush nitrogen as needed — micro-perforations let ethylene and moisture escape while nitrogen flushing displaces oxygen; anti-fog film (MAP) is also available to extend shelf life.
- Bag size by film widthChange bag dimensions simply by switching the roll film width — no complex mechanical changes.
- Full servo controlAll motion axes run on servo motors with rapid response and precise positioning; sealing temperature is independently controlled.
- Line-readyConnects directly to the weighing, printing and labeling machine and rotary collection table for a complete packaging-weighing-labeling line.

Structures
Standard vs High-Speed
Standard Model
Standard ModelThe Standard model wraps 1,200–1,800 bags per hour with an output of 500–2,000 kg per hour — a fit for medium-to-high volume lines. Center and end sealing are independently temperature-controlled, and freshness options include multi-hole perforation, nitrogen flushing and anti-fog film (MAP). Bag size changes simply by switching the roll film width (≤ 600 mm film, ≤ 300 mm bag).
Both models: full servo control, roller guardrail conveyor, automatic length detection; bag size changes by roll film width.
| Model | Speed | Output | Power | Film / bag width | Dimensions (L×W×H) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FST-VP-S | 1,200–1,800 bags/hour | 500–2,000 kg/hour | 3.0 kW, 220V/50Hz single phase | ≤ 600 mm film, ≤ 300 mm bag | 4,000 × 1,000 × 1,350 mm |
High-Speed Reciprocating Model
High-Speed Reciprocating ModelThe High-Speed model doubles throughput to 2,500–3,600 packs per hour — up to 60 bags per minute at a 30 cm bag length. A reciprocating cam mechanism runs continuous packaging when material supply is sufficient, sealing and cutting in one step. A bus-type fiber amplifier adjusts feeding sensitivity on the touchscreen, so very small items and regular products switch without mechanical changes. Multi-hole perforation is equipped as standard, and nitrogen flushing is available as on the Standard model.
High-speed extras: reciprocating cam drive, one-step sealing and cutting, bus-type fiber amplifier, multi-hole perforation as standard.
| Model | Speed | Bag reference | Power | Film width | Dimensions (L×W×H) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FST-VP-H | 2,500–3,600 packs/hour | Up to 60 bags/min at 30 cm length | 4.5 kW, AC 200–240V 50/60Hz | 250–600 mm | 5,000 × 1,120 × 1,435 mm |
Working Process
Pillow packaging
Products travel on roller guardrails; the machine detects each item's length, wraps pillow-style film and seals — one step on the High-Speed model, independently temperature-controlled on the Standard.
Dynamic weighing and labeling
Packs transfer to the weighing, printing and labeling integrated machine for weight, price and barcode labels.
Orderly collection
Labeled packs discharge onto the rotary collection table for damage-free gathering and case packing.

Standard or High-Speed — which do I need?
The Standard model runs 1,200–1,800 bags per hour (500–2,000 kg/hour) for medium-to-high volume lines. The High-Speed reciprocating model reaches 2,500–3,600 packs per hour — up to 60 bags per minute at a 30 cm bag length — for continuous high-volume production with sufficient material supply.
How do the models differ technically?
The High-Speed model adds a reciprocating cam mechanism with one-step sealing and cutting, a bus-type fiber amplifier for touchscreen feed-sensitivity adjustment, and multi-hole perforation as standard. It needs more power (4.5 kW vs 3.0 kW) and a larger frame.
How do I change the bag size?
By switching the roll film width — up to 600 mm film and 300 mm bag width on the Standard, 250–600 mm film on the High-Speed. No complex mechanical changes.
Why multi-hole perforation?
Synchronized perforations maintain respiration, ventilation and moisture balance inside each bag, preserving freshness during storage and display. Both models can perforate the bags and flush nitrogen as needed — perforation comes as standard on the High-Speed model.
Can it handle very small items?
On the High-Speed model, the bus-type fiber amplifier adjusts feeding sensitivity and threshold on the touchscreen, switching between very small items and regular products without mechanical changes.
