Potato seed counting machinePacking equipment
Potato Seed Counting Machine
An AI vision counting machine that counts potato seeds — and any seeds, kernels or granules from 5 to 60 mm — as they ride the conveyor, displaying the live count on screen for exact-piece packing.
Applications
- Potato seed counting before bagging
- Seeds, kernels and granules from 5 to 60 mm
- Exact-piece packing in seed and nursery operations
- Counting stations ahead of bagging and boxing lines
Features
- AI vision countingA camera and algorithm host count each piece on the belt — the count you see on screen is the count in the pack, with no weighing guesswork.
- 5–60 mm material rangeOne machine covers potato seeds plus smaller seeds, kernels and granular products anywhere from 5 to 60 mm across.
- Live count displayThe screen shows the running total in real time, so operators can stop, batch and pack to an exact number of pieces.
- Elevator and conveyor in one frameThe inclined lift feeds the counting conveyor at a steady rate — one stainless frame, one 180 W power connection.
- Compact single-phase powerRuns on 220 V, 50 Hz at just 180 W — no three-phase supply or compressed air needed.
- Feeds packing linesCounted product discharges to bagging, boxing or collection points, adding an exact-count station to an existing packing line.

Working Process
Elevate
The inclined elevator lifts seeds or granules from the infeed hopper to the counting conveyor at a steady, single-layer rate.
Count by vision
Inside the vision hood, the camera captures every piece on the belt and the algorithm host counts them — mixed sizes are counted in one pass.
Read and batch
The live total shows on the machine screen; operators stop at the target number or let batches discharge automatically.
Discharge
Counted product drops to the bagging, boxing or collection point — an exact-count station at the front of your packing line.

FAQ
What can the machine count?
Any seeds, kernels or granular products from 5 to 60 mm across — potato seeds are the reference application, and the same machine counts other seed types without changeover parts.
How is it different from weighing?
Weighers estimate the count from total weight; this machine counts every piece with AI vision, so each pack holds an exact number of seeds — what matters for priced seed lots and research batches.
What power does it need?
220 V, 50 Hz single phase at 180 W — an ordinary wall supply runs the elevator, conveyor and vision system together.
Can it connect to a packing line?
Yes. Counted product discharges to bagging, boxing or collection stations, so the machine works as the counting station of a seed packing line.
