Multihead Weigher

A 14-head bucket multihead weigher for fruit and vegetable lines — belt conveying replaces the traditional vibratory feeder for more even feeding, weighing 100–3,000 g portions at up to 50 dumps per minute.

Applications

  • Precise weighing of fruit, nuts, vegetables and salads
  • Light, bulky materials such as leafy salad and large nuts
  • Weighing before net bag or pillow packing
  • Line integration with an infeed elevator and packing machine

Features

  • Belt conveying feedBelt conveying replaces the traditional linear vibratory feeder, presenting product to the buckets more evenly so combinations weigh more accurately.
  • High-precision digital load cellsFast-sampling digital sensors with manual or auto zero clearing and dynamic zero tracking; an optimized sampling algorithm keeps weighing accurate.
  • Weighing and counting dual modeCombined weighing and counting functions raise counting accuracy when portion counts matter.
  • Staged dischargeThe collection hopper discharges in stages, preventing product blocking with sticky or leafy materials.
  • Easy-clean bucket designTop infeed hoppers and bottom discharge hoppers detach easily for cleaning; standardized interchangeable parts on a stable box-section frame.

Working Process

  1. Belt feed

An infeed elevator or conveyor raises the product; the belt distribution system delivers it evenly to the 14 weighing buckets — steadier and gentler than a vibratory feeder.

  2. Combination calculation

The control system selects the bucket combination closest to the target weight; digital load cells sample at high speed with dynamic zero tracking.

  3. Staged discharge

The selected buckets release into the collection hopper, which discharges in stages to the packing machine below — staged emptying prevents blocking.

  4. Line integration

Paired with an infeed elevator and a net bag or pillow packing machine, the weigher becomes the weighing heart of a complete packing line.

FAQ

Which products suit the 14-head bucket weigher?

Light, bulky materials that are hard to vibrate evenly — leafy salads, vegetables, large nuts — plus precise weighing of fruit before net bag or pillow packing.

How fast does it weigh?

Up to 50 dumps per minute with a single-bucket range of 100–3,000 g and a 0.1 g scale division; actual speed depends on the material.

Why belt conveying instead of a vibratory feeder?

Compared with a traditional 14-head 5.0 L combination weigher, the belt conveying structure feeds the buckets more evenly, so weighing is more accurate.

Can it connect to my packing machine?

Yes — it is designed to work with an infeed elevator and net bag or pillow packing machines as a complete weighing-packing line.
