Flat Surface Labeling Machine

A roll-fed labeler that applies pre-printed self-adhesive labels onto flat surfaces — produce punnets, cartons and tray lids — at 30–120 pcs/min with ±1 mm accuracy, ready to join an existing line.

Applications

  • PLU, origin and barcode stickers on fruit punnets and clamshells
  • Outer cartons, box tops and sealed tray lids
  • Fixed pre-printed roll labels at line speed
  • Salad clamshells, herb containers and vegetable trays

Features

  • 30–120 pcs/min, ±1 mmHigh-speed labeling of flat-packed goods with ±1 mm placement accuracy, independent of product and label tolerances.
  • Fixed pre-printed roll labelsApplies self-adhesive labels from a roll — unwind, peel, apply, rewind run continuously; label content is fixed, so there is no printing system to set up.
  • XYZ + angle adjustable headThe labeling head adjusts on three axes plus one angular layer, so the label position matches each product and label layout.
  • Flat surfaces to 700 × 280 mmHandles products up to 700 mm long, 280 mm wide and 110 mm high — punnets, clamshells, trays and cartons within the range.
  • Line-connectableConveyor width 294 mm with 300 or 500 mm options and 750 mm line height — bolts onto an existing packing line.
  • Optional coder and second headA hot-stamp coder or inkjet printer can imprint date codes and batch numbers before application; a second head adds two-side or two-label passes.

Working Process

  1. Feed

Flat products — punnets, cartons, tray lids — ride the conveyor into the labeling position; guides hold them square to the head.

  2. Peel

The unwind mechanism pulls the pre-printed roll forward and the peeling plate separates each label from its liner.

  3. Apply

The applicator presses the label onto the flat surface at the XYZ-adjusted position — placement holds to ±1 mm at up to 120 pcs/min.

  4. Rewind

The rewind mechanism collects the spent liner while labeled products continue down the line to collection or case packing.
